Propane heats water nearly 40% faster than electricity. That means less energy use and faster recovery times.
Propane is a domestically produced low-carbon energy source that emits 43% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline, diesel, and electricity in many applications. It is nontoxic and insoluble in water. Because it is released as a gas, it doesn’t spill, pool, or leave a residue. This means that, in the unlikely event of a release, propane is not harmful to soil or water. The Clean Air Act of 1990 designated propane as a clean alternative fuel.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has imparted stringent codes and regulations to ensure its safety.
